IBT Condensing Unit
In a dairy application, an IBT Ice Bank Tank is used to store "cold energy" in the form of chilled Brine during off-peak hours (or between milk collections). This allows a relatively small 5TR condensing unit to handle a much larger instantaneous cooling load when warm milk (at 35°C) arrives and needs to be chilled to 4°C rapidly.
